Ganesh Krishna Dhareshwar

Ganesh Krishna Dhareshwar, born on 17th July 1981 in Sirsi, Karnataka, is a renowned freelance artist and muralist currently based in Bangalore. He completed his Pre-University course in Commerce from Sirsi and went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Painting from the University College of Fine Arts, Davangere, Karnataka.

Ganesh has made significant contributions to the Indian art scene, with his works being featured in prestigious events both in India and internationally.Over the years, Ganesh has been part of numerous group exhibitions, including major shows like the 19th Asian Art Biennale in Bangladesh (2022), Art Zagreb in Croatia (2022), and the CIMA Awards in Kolkata (2022). His works have been showcased at renowned galleries like the Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi, and Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath, Bangalore.

Additionally, he has participated in various international exhibitions, including Power Binary featuring artists from India and Singapore, and the Zagreb Art Festival (2023). His group shows extend to notable venues like the University College of Visual Art, Davangere, and the Mysore Dasara Exhibition Ganesh’s solo exhibitions have been equally remarkable, with his series ‘Unbounded Vision’ and ‘Spiritual Rumination’ being widely acclaimed. His dedication to his craft has earned him numerous accolades, including a Senior Fellowship from the Centre for Cultural Resources and Training (CCRT), Government of India (2023), and several awards during his academic years, including First Rank with three Gold Medals in BFA Painting.
